Cupcake Day 2019 takes place on June 13th 2019 and is held each year to raise money to help the fight against dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
Cupcake Day provides a significant way of helping and has raised £2.7 million since 2016 in England on this day alone. A large part of the money raised went to opening special dementia cafes where people who suffer from the disease have a welcoming place to gather with their carers and support each other while enjoying a little light refreshment.
Cupcake Day has raised £2.7 million since 2016 – let’s make this year the biggest yet!
How do you host your own Cupcake Day?
- Sign up and receive your free fundraising kit in the post.
- Decide when and where to host your Cupcake Day. Cupcake Day is 13 June 2019, but you can host yours on any day that suits you!
- Start baking and/or buying delicious treats for your day (yes, faking is definitely allowed!) and raise as much dough as possible to help beat dementia.
Cupcake Day 2019 is organised by the Alzheimer’s Society. The Alzheimer’s Society is the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia today.
